Computer science teacher at Summit Academy, Since 1997
- 🇺🇸 Riverside, California, United States
- Summit Academy
- Since 1997
- English
I came to teaching late, after working as a waiter, and 29 years later I still can't imagine doing anything else.
Outside the classroom I'm always reading two books at once. Inside it, I write a short note to every student at the end of term.
More about Rachel
Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the old fort, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.

What gifts mean to Rachel: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.

You taught me computer science in 2001 at Summit Academy. I still remember the long bus ride home. Greetings from Eindhoven.

You taught me computer science in 2010 at Summit Academy. I still remember the morning the power went out and we had class in the yard
