Rachel E. Fortuin
Taught Spanish at Elmwood Girls' School
- 🇿🇦 Cape Town, Western Cape, South Africa
- Elmwood Girls' School
- 1982 to 2011
- English, Spanish
Elmwood Girls' School was my second home. I taught Spanish there from 1982 to 2011, mostly the final-year class.
Over the years I had 1,570 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
Thank you for stopping by.
More about Rachel
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.
What gifts mean to Rachel: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.
