Rachel E. Du Plessis

Coached cross country for 37 years in Johannesburg

  • 🇿🇦 Johannesburg, Gauteng, South Africa
  • Johannesburg Community Club
  • 1980 to 2017
  • English
I coached cross country at Johannesburg Community Club from 1980 to 2017. Most of my players were between 12 and 13, and a lot of them turned into friends for life. Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. My door was open at lunch.
