I've been a nurse for 26 years, most of them in neonatal care at Hope Regional Medical Center in Boulogne-Billancourt. Night shifts taught me patience, and patients taught me everything else.
The thing I'm proudest of is that families usually remember my name. I volunteer at the food bank on Saturdays.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
