Queen Temitope Kalu
Welding for 43 years in Onitsha
- 🇳🇬 Onitsha, Anambra, Nigeria
- Old Onitsha Shop
- Since 1983
- English, Hausa
I've worked in welding since 1983. I learned from my uncle and passed what I could on to 2,490 apprentices.
Apprentices come in nervous and leave proud. That's my favorite part. I carry a notebook everywhere.

What gifts mean to Queen: A gift would go toward tools for apprentices who can't afford their own.
