Queen Mercy Yusuf
Environmental science and mathematics teacher, Badagry
- 🇳🇬 Badagry, Lagos, Nigeria
- Badagry Academy
- Since 1995
- English, Spanish
For 31 years I have been the environmental science teacher at Badagry Academy. I teach teenagers and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
Outside the classroom I bake for the whole street at New Year. Inside it, I never raise my voice.
More about Queen
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

What gifts mean to Queen: If you do send something, I'll put it toward a small scholarship for a student who needs it.

You taught me environmental science in 2014 at Badagry Academy. I still remember the quiz night we nearly won.
