Queen Damilola Obi

Wrestling and fitness coach, Kano

  • 🇳🇬 Kano, Kano, Nigeria
  • Highland Youth Club
  • Since 1993
  • English, Yoruba
For 33 years I've run the wrestling program at Highland Youth Club in Kano. We trained 3 evenings a week, whatever the weather. Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I answer every email, even at midnight.

What gifts mean to Queen: A gift would go toward kit and bus fares for kids who can't afford them.
