Qiang Guo Zhu
Master of welding, now teaching apprentices
- 🇺🇸 Los Angeles, California, United States
- 2004 to 2014
- English
My trade is welding. I opened my own shop in 2004 in Los Angeles and I'm still there most mornings.
The best compliment I ever got was a customer who called me back 13 years later for another job.

If I fixed something for you, I hope it's still holding.
Crafts and trades
What gifts mean to Qiang: I'd put gifts toward a new set of tools for the next apprentice.
