I taught biology at Mobile Primary School in Mobile from 1983 to 1992. Most days I taught Grade 8, and I played music while people worked.
Over the years I had 400 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
More about Qian
Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the old fort, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.

What gifts mean to Qian: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.
