Qian Jun Ren

Home economics and art teacher, Ballarat

  • 🇦🇺 Ballarat, Victoria, Australia
  • Silverlake Middle School
  • Since 2009
  • English, Mandarin
For 17 years I have been the home economics teacher at Silverlake Middle School. I teach teenagers and a few brave older students who wanted extra help. Outside the classroom I'm learning the guitar. Inside it, I stay late on Thursdays for anyone who needs it.

More about Qian

Teaching changed me more than I changed anyone, I think.

What gifts mean to Qian: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.
