I taught physical education at Heritage High School in Heliopolis from 2009 to 2025. Most days I taught Year 10, and my door was open at lunch.
I coached the school's netball team for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
More about Qasim
Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the coast, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.
