Putri Zahra Hartono
Carpentry for 15 years in Bandung
- 🇮🇩 Bandung, West Java, Indonesia
- The Bandung Works
- 1979 to 1994
- English
I've worked in carpentry from 1979 to 1994. I learned from my grandmother and passed what I could on to 360 apprentices.
The best compliment I ever got was a customer who called me back 21 years later for another job.
More about Putri
Some of my old apprentices now run their own shops. I couldn't be prouder.
What gifts mean to Putri: I'd put gifts toward a new set of tools for the next apprentice.
