Putri Yanti Permana
Self-taught woodcarving artist
- 🇮🇩 Jakarta, DKI Jakarta, Indonesia
- Since 1993
- English, Indonesian
I work mostly in woodcarving, sometimes calligraphy. My first show was in 1993 at The Holy Cross Art Collective, and nobody came except my family and one confused dog.
I also teach a weekly class at The Holy Cross Art Collective, which keeps me honest.

If you've bought a piece of mine, thank you. It's on someone's wall and that still amazes me.
