Purvi K. Vyas
Master of tiling, now teaching apprentices
- 🇮🇳 Mumbai, Maharashtra, India
- The Brookfield Works
- 1990 to 2022
- English, Marathi
I've worked in tiling from 1990 to 2022. I learned from my grandmother and passed what I could on to 640 apprentices.
I can still tell good work from rushed work from across the street. I'm learning the guitar.
I'm proud of everyone I got to work with.
More about Purvi
Some of my old apprentices now run their own shops. I couldn't be prouder.
Crafts and trades
What gifts mean to Purvi: A gift would go toward tools for apprentices who can't afford their own.
