I've spent 14 years as a lecturer in statistics at San Jose College in San Jose. I loved the lecture hall and loved office hours even more.
Former students now work as a waiter and in a dozen other fields. It's the best part of this job.
More about Prof. Zou
I retired from full-time teaching but still mentor a few students a year.

What gifts mean to Prof. Zou: I'd put a gift toward a student bursary.
