I spent 18 years as a lecturer in education at Manchester University in Manchester. I loved the lecture hall and loved office hours even more.
I'm happiest when a student comes to office hours with a question that makes me rethink something I've said for years. I volunteer at the food bank on Saturdays.
More about Prof. Watkins
Some of my favorite days were field trips that went spectacularly wrong.
