Prof. Vuong
Marine biology lecturer, 1990 to 2017

I spent 27 years as a lecturer in marine biology at Da Nang Institute of Technology in Da Nang. I loved the lecture hall and loved office hours even more.
I'm happiest when a student comes to office hours with a question that makes me rethink something I've said for years. I sing in a choir.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
More about Prof. Vuong
Some of my favorite days were field trips that went spectacularly wrong.
What gifts mean to Prof. Vuong: I'd put a gift toward a student bursary.
