I taught anthropology at Hồ Chí Minh City Institute of Technology from 1978 to 1986, and supervised 19 dissertations along the way.
Former students now work as a bus driver and in a dozen other fields. It's the best part of this job.
What gifts mean to Prof. Vu: I'd put a gift toward a student bursary.
