Prof. Vargas

My subject is organic chemistry, and for 24 years I got to share it with undergraduates at Buenos Aires University.
I'm happiest when a student comes to office hours with a question that makes me rethink something I've said for years. I paint watercolors of whatever is outside the window.
More about Prof. Vargas
Some of my favorite days were field trips that went spectacularly wrong.
What gifts mean to Prof. Vargas: I'd put a gift toward a student bursary.
