I've spent 35 years as a lecturer in agriculture at León Polytechnic in León. I loved the lecture hall and loved office hours even more.
I'm happiest when a student comes to office hours with a question that makes me rethink something I've said for years. I'm always reading two books at once.
More about Prof. Vargas
I retired from full-time teaching but still mentor a few students a year.
