Prof. Van Wyk
19 years teaching literature at Soweto College
- 🇿🇦 Soweto, Gauteng, South Africa
- Soweto College
- 1991 to 2024
- English, Zulu
I taught literature at Soweto College from 1991 to 2024, and supervised 21 dissertations along the way.
Former students now work as a night-shift cleaner and in a dozen other fields. It is the best part of this job.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
What gifts mean to Prof. Van Wyk: Any gift helps me keep buying books for students who can't afford them.
