I taught organic chemistry at Amsterdam State University from 2003 to 2023, and supervised 31 dissertations along the way.
I kept a jar of spare pencils on my desk. It sounds small, but students remember small things.
More about Prof. Van Leeuwen
I retired from full-time teaching but still mentor a few students a year.
What gifts mean to Prof. Van Leeuwen: I'd put a gift toward a student bursary.
