I've spent 19 years as a lecturer in sociology at Kaduna University in Kaduna. I loved the lecture hall and loved office hours even more.
I'm happiest when a student comes to office hours with a question that makes me rethink something I've said for years. I bake for the whole street at New Year.

If you wrote a dissertation with me, I probably still have a copy on my shelf.
What gifts mean to Prof. Uba: I'd put a gift toward a student bursary.
