I've spent 13 years as a lecturer in astronomy at Ribeirão Preto Institute of Technology in Ribeirão Preto. I loved the lecture hall and loved office hours even more. Former students now work as a radio technician and in a dozen other fields. It's the best part of this job.

More about Prof. Teixeira

I retired from full-time teaching but still mentor a few students a year.
