I teach sociology at Ashford College since 2011, and supervised 52 dissertations along the way.
Former students now work as a waiter and in a dozen other fields. It's the best part of this job.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
More about Prof. Steyn
Some of my favorite days were field trips that went spectacularly wrong.
What gifts mean to Prof. Steyn: I'd put a gift toward a student bursary.
