I taught astronomy at Dundee State University from 1992 to 2009, and supervised 24 dissertations along the way.
Former students now work as a radio technician and in a dozen other fields. It's the best part of this job.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
More about Prof. Stanley
Some of my favorite days were field trips that went spectacularly wrong.
