I've spent 18 years as a lecturer in marine biology at Pune State University in Pune. I loved the lecture hall and loved office hours even more.
I'm happiest when a student comes to office hours with a question that makes me rethink something I've said for years. I'm always reading two books at once.
If you remember me, I'd love to hear from you.
What gifts mean to Prof. Soni: Gifts will go to a small travel fund for students presenting their first paper.
