I've spent 13 years as a lecturer in economics at Mérida University in Mérida. I loved the lecture hall and loved office hours even more.
Former students now work as a farmhand and in a dozen other fields. It's the best part of this job.
What gifts mean to Prof. Solís: I'd put a gift toward a student bursary.
