I've spent 22 years as a lecturer in organic chemistry at Meadowbank Polytechnic in Soweto. I loved the lecture hall and loved office hours even more.
Former students now work as a bus driver and in a dozen other fields. It's the best part of this job.
I'm still learning every day.
