I taught marine biology at Caruaru College from 1990 to 2007, and supervised 49 dissertations along the way.
I always had a bag of oranges in my drawer. It sounds small, but students remember small things.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
What gifts mean to Prof. Silva: I'd put a gift toward a student bursary.
