I've spent eleven years as a lecturer in modern history at Jakarta Polytechnic in Jakarta. I loved the lecture hall and loved office hours even more.
Former students now work as a radio technician and in a dozen other fields. It's the best part of this job.
More about Prof. Siahaan
Some of my favorite days were field trips that went spectacularly wrong.
What gifts mean to Prof. Siahaan: I'd put a gift toward a student bursary.
