I've spent 45 years as a lecturer in materials science at Wollongong University in Wollongong. I loved the lecture hall and loved office hours even more.
I learn every name in the first week. It sounds small, but students remember small things.
What gifts mean to Prof. Sanchez: I'd put a gift toward a student bursary.
