Prof. Salim
Anthropology lecturer, 1982 to 2008
- 🇮🇩 Surabaya, East Java, Indonesia
- Surabaya State University
- 1982 to 2008
- English
I taught anthropology at Surabaya State University from 1982 to 2008, and supervised 22 dissertations along the way.
I'm happiest when a student comes to office hours with a question that makes me rethink something I've said for years. I paint watercolors of whatever is outside the window.
I'm proud of everyone I got to work with.
More about Prof. Salim
Some of my favorite days were field trips that went spectacularly wrong.
