I've spent 43 years as a lecturer in psychology at Meadowbank Institute of Technology in Birmingham. I loved the lecture hall and loved office hours even more.
Former students now work as a postal worker and in a dozen other fields. It's the best part of this job.
More about Prof. Rios
I retired from full-time teaching but still mentor a few students a year.
