I've spent 46 years as a lecturer in mathematics at Melbourne State University in Melbourne. I loved the lecture hall and loved office hours even more.
Former students now work as a shop assistant and in a dozen other fields. It is the best part of this job.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
