I've spent ten years as a lecturer in philosophy at Frangipani Polytechnic in Manchester. I loved the lecture hall and loved office hours even more.
I'm happiest when a student comes to office hours with a question that makes me rethink something I've said for years. I run most mornings.
More about Prof. Ramirez
Some of my favorite days were field trips that went spectacularly wrong.
What gifts mean to Prof. Ramirez: I'd put a gift toward a student bursary.
