I've spent 18 years as a lecturer in literature at St. Joseph's University in Bhopal. I loved the lecture hall and loved office hours even more.
I'm happiest when a student comes to office hours with a question that makes me rethink something I've said for years. I paint watercolors of whatever is outside the window.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
