I've spent 39 years as a lecturer in sociology at Yogyakarta College in Yogyakarta. I loved the lecture hall and loved office hours even more.
Former students now work as a clerk and in a dozen other fields. It's the best part of this job.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
More about Prof. Purnomo
I retired from full-time teaching but still mentor a few students a year.
