Prof. Powers
Professor of astronomy, Bamboo State University
- 🇺🇸 Springfield, Missouri, United States
- 2011 to 2025
- English
I spent 14 years as a lecturer in astronomy at Bamboo State University in Springfield. I loved the lecture hall and loved office hours even more.
I kept a jar of spare pencils on my desk. It sounds small, but students remember small things.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
More about Prof. Powers
I retired from full-time teaching but still mentor a few students a year.
What gifts mean to Prof. Powers: Gifts will go to a small travel fund for students presenting their first paper.
