I've spent 33 years as a lecturer in marine biology at San Francisco Polytechnic in San Francisco. I loved the lecture hall and loved office hours even more.
I'm happiest when a student comes to office hours with a question that makes me rethink something I've said for years. I bake for the whole street at New Year.
If you remember me, I'd love to hear from you.

Some of my favorite days were field trips that went spectacularly wrong.
