I spent 14 years as a lecturer in organic chemistry at Valencia State University in Valencia. I loved the lecture hall and loved office hours even more.
I'm happiest when a student comes to office hours with a question that makes me rethink something I've said for years. I'm learning the guitar.
What gifts mean to Prof. Ortiz: Gifts will go to a small travel fund for students presenting their first paper.
