I've spent 48 years as a lecturer in psychology at Bamboo Institute of Technology in Port Harcourt. I loved the lecture hall and loved office hours even more.
Former students now work as a waiter and in a dozen other fields. It's the best part of this job.
If you remember me, I'd love to hear from you.
More about Prof. Okonkwo
I retired from full-time teaching but still mentor a few students a year.
What gifts mean to Prof. Okonkwo: I'd put a gift toward a student bursary.
