I've spent 39 years as a lecturer in mathematics at Cedar Grove College in Bogotá. I loved the lecture hall and loved office hours even more.
I'm happiest when a student comes to office hours with a question that makes me rethink something I've said for years. I fix old bicycles.
What gifts mean to Prof. Núñez: Any gift helps me keep buying books for students who can't afford them.
