My subject is education, and for 25 years I get to share it with undergraduates at St. Mary's State University.
I'm happiest when a student comes to office hours with a question that makes me rethink something I've said for years. I run most mornings.
If we met, say hello. I'd love to know how life turned out.
What gifts mean to Prof. Nel: Any gift helps me keep buying books for students who can't afford them.
