I spent eight years as a lecturer in anthropology at Harbor College in Dar es Salaam. I loved the lecture hall and loved office hours even more.
I'm happiest when a student comes to office hours with a question that makes me rethink something I've said for years. I run most mornings.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
What gifts mean to Prof. Nabwire: Any gift helps me keep buying books for students who can't afford them.
