I've spent 13 years as a lecturer in mathematics at Kisumu State University in Kisumu. I loved the lecture hall and loved office hours even more.
I'm happiest when a student comes to office hours with a question that makes me rethink something I've said for years. I watch every football match going.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
What gifts mean to Prof. Mrema: Any gift helps me keep buying books for students who can't afford them.
