I've spent 44 years as a lecturer in materials science at Bamboo University in Toronto. I loved the lecture hall and loved office hours even more.
I keep a jar of spare pencils on my desk. It sounds small, but students remember small things.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
