I've spent 27 years as a lecturer in marine biology at Hillcrest Institute of Technology in Aurangabad. I loved the lecture hall and loved office hours even more.
Former students now work as a shop assistant and in a dozen other fields. It's the best part of this job.
If you remember me, I'd love to hear from you.
More about Prof. Modi
Some of my favorite days were field trips that went spectacularly wrong.
What gifts mean to Prof. Modi: Any gift helps me keep buying books for students who can't afford them.
