I've spent 27 years as a lecturer in sociology at Frangipani University in Buenos Aires. I loved the lecture hall and loved office hours even more.
I'm happiest when a student comes to office hours with a question that makes me rethink something I've said for years. I sing in a choir.

What gifts mean to Prof. Martínez: I'd put a gift toward a student bursary.
