I've spent 36 years as a lecturer in modern history at Ashford College in Abbottabad. I loved the lecture hall and loved office hours even more.
I keep a jar of spare pencils on my desk. It sounds small, but students remember small things.
More about Prof. Malik
I retired from full-time teaching but still mentor a few students a year.
What gifts mean to Prof. Malik: I'd put a gift toward a student bursary.
